His newborn son, Grayson Riley Rome, was growing up right before his eyes. Rome's wife, Adrianne, delivered little Grayson - all six pounds, 14 ounces of him - on Friday, Feb. 26. That gave Rome the chance to at least cradle his son in his arms for a few hours before the team left the next day on the post- Olympic portion of its epic 14-game journey. Elliott Pap Vancouver Sun Q: Your family name is the same as one of the world's most famous cities. So have you ever been to Rome? A: You know what? I have not been there. I have not even been to Europe. I would love to go but the off-season is for training. I think I am going to try to go eventually. And our name, Rome, is not even Italian. It's English. Q: What can you tell us about your hometown of Nesbitt, Man.? Is it known for anything in particular? A: It's a farming community and, no, it's not really famous for anything, at least I don't think so. It's a mailing address basically.
